ARCHIVES, ARTEFACTS, AMATEURS AND ACADEMICS

20-21 APRIL 2012

 

The Historical Model Railway Society (HMRS) are holding a Workshop partly at the Derby Conference Centre on 20th & 21st April 2012 and DRES members have been specifically invited to the opening session on 20th.  The ex CEO of the World Archaeological Congress and the Archivist of the National Railway Museum speaking at the opening session on the topic of how those at work in industry currently and amateurs in general can help record, preserve and save business archives especially in the rail industry.

Please see the HMRS-Leaflet for details of the event.  Any DRES members wish to take part in all or part of it are most welcome; they simply need to print off and fill in the form, and send it with a cheque as indicated in the leaflet.  (The Friday only (excluding Workshop Dinner) charge of £7.50 includes tea, coffee and biscuits.)
