New Member Application

You can apply to join the society by either email or by post.

 

Email Application:

Please send an email to the Membership Secretary.

State in the email your title, initials, first & surnames, year of birth, full postal address including post code, your home phone number and your main railway interest.  Please also say how you will pay your subscription.  Please see Example Email and Payment Options

Postal Application:

Please print off the Application Form, fill it in and send it to the Membership Secretary enclosing your either your cheque or stating how you will pay your subscription.

 

Membership is open to all persons who have an interest in railway engineering. There are no requirements for any academic qualifications or requirements for any previous railway experience.

The season runs from 1st September to 31st August in the following year.  However, new applications can be accepted at anytime.  Applications made between mid April to 31st August will be run until the end of the following season.

Your membership application cannot be recorded in the DRES records until your first subscription payment has been received.

Personal details, as stated above, will be maintained on a computer, on the understanding that the Society acknowledges and respects the requirements of the Data Protection Act.
