The Society hosted another successful Annual Dinner on the 30th June 2022. For the first time in a very long time, the Annual Dinner was held at the Derby Conference Centre. Over 110 Members and guests were there to enjoy drinks and a 3-course meal.

The speakers on the evening included the Mayor of Derby – Robin Wood, our guest speaker Rufus Boyd who is the Programme Director for Passenger & Freight Services at the Great British Railways Transition Team. Prize presentations were made to the winners of the Peter Parkin Memorial Lecture for both 2021 and 2022 by our President Neil Foster.
