The Society is delighted to announce that Giles Pettit (Associate Director and Head Of Rolling Stock at Arup) has agreed to become one of our Vice Presidents.

Giles will give the Society a strategic steer on a variety of subjects including:

• lecture content;
• decarbonisation issues affecting the rail industry;
• engagement with other rail related consultancies.
