Every journey begins with the first step – building on a successful Great British Railways HQ bid. The Society is delighted to announce an additional lecture to this season’s programme. David Fletcher (Director of City Development & Growth) at Derby City Council described the bid process and how the City of Derby managed its successful GBR HQ submission. He then went on to outline future plans and the possible benefits which will accrue to the city as a result of this successful bid.
