Martin Ward (Deputy Rolling Stock Director) from the West Coast Partnership Development and Liam Hockings (New Fleet Introduction Manager) from Avanti West Coast gave a lecture on the current and new West Coast fleet.

The lecture covered the fleet strategy for the West Coast Partnership franchise, including the challenge of replacing tilting trains with non-tilting trains and went on to outline the benefits to stakeholders of the refurbished Pendolino fleet and the new Hitachi EMU and bi-mode fleets that will soon replace Voyagers.
