In the UK, we operate one of the safest railway networks on the planet, yet at certain points on this vast network, we must interface with our roads and footpaths and allow members of the public access to our infrastructure. This safe access comes in the form of a Level Crossing.
This presentation discusses the common risks at these interfaces and enforces the need for a Suitable and Sufficient Risk Assessment. Andrew will look at several case studies and show what can happen when we don’t quite get things right.
